The location of the lodges was absolutely beautiful, despite the weather. Being so close to the Loch was a definite highlight. The peaceful nature of the park was extremely relaxing and made for a tranquil getaway. the cleanliness of the lodge was exceptional, especially considering it was a pet-friendly lodge. There was no evidence of any animal hair, which was a pleasant surprise.
One downside to the area was the lack of convenience stores and other amenities nearby. We found ourselves in need of a quick visit to a convenience store and had to travel quite a distance to find one.

Stayed here in September '22, 1 adult, 2 children. The lodge exceeded expectations in terms of space and appearance. The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating, resolving any issues and even moving us closer to the car park for convenience. The lodge itself was beautifully maintained, as was the large 8-person hot tub. The location near the shore offered stunning views, and there were amenities like a nearby restaurant, shop, and picnic areas. The pet-friendly policy was an added bonus.

The property itself was modern and cosy, providing a perfect atmosphere for relaxation and rest. The nearby scenery was breathtaking, and it was wonderful to have the West Highland Way just down the road, offering a fantastic viewpoint for nature lovers. Plus, the pet friendliness was a brilliant touch that made our stay even more enjoyable.

The lodges were extremely clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary facilities. The staff were also very helpful and responsive, even accommodating late arrivals. The location right by the Loch was a major advantage, offering beautiful views and easy access to walking tracks. Plus, the on-site hot tub was a great bonus for relaxation.
Some aspects were not up to par, such as the lack of washing facilities within the lodge. there were some noise disturbances, like the noisy boiler at night and noise from upstairs guests.

The lodges were beautiful, clean, and comfortable, offering a peaceful and quiet environment. the location was key, with easy access to nearby shores, towns, and villages. I particularly enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
The view from the lodge was spoiled by a large construction site, and there was no mobile network or free Wi-Fi available. Even paid Wi-Fi was unreliable, only working near the office.

I recently stayed at the Balmaha Lodges for a family getaway. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of Loch Lomond and charming wildlife. The cottage was beautifully cleaned and had a pleasant aroma. I loved that everything we needed, such as a mini supermarket, restaurant, and bus station, was conveniently located nearby. The cottage itself was fully equipped, including towels, and the highlight was definitely the Jacuzzi tub. The pub down the road was also a great find. a perfect retreat for a quiet family getaway.
I do recommend this hotel.
